Renault R4
A girl friend (not a girlfriend) gave me her Renault R4 because one of the rear springs had broken. I welded the spring and drove the car for some months until the technical examination had expired (there was no chance for renewal!) It was a fun, easygoing, and very fuel-efficient car. I gave it to a friend who was building a resort in Italy and used it to transport building materials there until one day the engine became loose and, instead of driving the wheels, just turned around under the hood.
